About election security and transparency...

Most of the country’s votes are counted by a scanner, years ago when electronic vote counting was new, humbolt county did a transparency project, they made a copy of what the scanner saw and put it on a disk and people could send for the disk in the mail or pick it up from the elections office ( yes this was before the net was commonly used).

What they found was nearly all the votes were counted correctly except an entire column was left off the spreadsheet so no early voting was reflected in the results.

So mistakes do happen and since these clerks were inviting transparency i am sure it wasn’t done intentionally but they didn’t catch it either

Remember, don’t be a Stalin
