The Real Time host offered words of support for friend Jimmy Kimmeleven if he disagrees with him.

Bill Maher came out swinging against the hypocritical cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Fridays episode of Real Time With Bill Maherwhile also saying his fellow late-night host was wrong for what he said about Charlie Kirk.
...
I dont think what he said was exactly right. I dont, said Maher. We dont agree on that, Maher said during his opening monologue, adding, He shouldnt lose his job for it.
Maher appeared to take issue with Kimmels pushback against right-wing rhetoric suggesting that Kirks suspected killer, Tyler Robinson, was a Democrat.
Jimmys wrong, I think, to put [Robinson] in one team. But, you know, look at what this guy is doing, Maher said. I mean, Jimmy has every right to be wrong, but look at this guy.

(3,070 posts)Larry Ellison is preparing to buy Warner Bros...parent to HBO. This, along with Maher's meeting with Trump, is all the evidence we need to know where Maher is headed to.
P.S. Ellison just bought Parmount and NOW wants Warner Bros?!?! Just Ugh. Interesting times we live in.

The ultra-opinionated late-night host misses the good ol days when Letterman, Leno, and Carson never told you their politics.

Bill Maher has some of the strongest political opinions on late-night televisionbut hes sick of hearing everyone elses.
On the latest episode of his podcast Club Random, Maher told his guest, The Sopranos star Drea de Matteo, that Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, John Oliver, and Jimmy Kimmel very predictably parrot whatever MSNBC was saying on their shows, as he praised the good ol days when Letterman, Leno, you know, Carson they never told you their politics.
Maher argued that part of our problem is that everybody makes their decisions based on the politics of the art and not the art itself.

David Letterman has been the only one to speak out. He's retired.
It's sad.

He went into the two Trump assassins and how they didn't fit a label. I disagree. They are mostly right wing nuts these school and political killers.
