Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has accused CBS of “shamefully” editing her comments during an interview on Sunday morning’s Face the Nation.

Noem posted video receipts on her X account on Sunday, including a 25-second portion of the interview that did not air. In her comments, Noem discusses the case of wrongfully deported Salvadoran citizen Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who is currently in custody on charges of human trafficking.

CBS later posted the full interview on its Face the Nation YouTube channel.

Talking to Ed O’Keefe on Face the Nation on Sunday, the brief section removed from the TV broadcast saw Noem claim that Garcia was a “known human smuggler,” MS-13 gang member—which he has denied—and a “wife beater.”

and which a court also has already told the government to stop making because they interfere with his right to a fair trial? And which conceivably could mean that a court dismisses the criminal case against him because the government's false public allegations have made a fair trial impossible?

Spewing the BS of cover and excuses for the mistake they admitted they made. The initial error and the admission are made so many levels away from and down from Trump no one would fault him for it.

It’s all over X. CBS probably couldn’t substantiate airing her emotionless stream of lies and/or avoiding litigation as you said.
