Trump Tariffs took $150 Billion from the American

people.

So raise taxes on the people, through tariffs, and dole out that revenue to Trump's right wing pet projects for the rich like tax cuts for the rich. Looks like a transfer of wealth from regular people to the rich.

like a transfer of wealth from regular people to the rich."

Very succinctly put. And a fact we aren't hearing at all in the media. If Democratic politicians can't pound this without losing their big-dollar donors then progressive pundits and the Democratic hoi-polloi need to keep pounding until it is hammered into the US zeitgeist.

He destroyed it, just like he destroys everything else to pretend he rebuilds something better.

It's more like a Panera Bread restaurant patio. And ya gotta love the cheesy umbrellas that no one is using. I never see anyone in photos. I wonder whose job it is to put them up and down every day? Wait, wait. Who's job is it to take them down in the event of rain, or an upcoming storm? OMG. All this unnecessary complexity. I'm sure it will end up on someone's resume.

The illegal import tax is reducing the velocity of money, which slows the economy.

to the U.S. Department of Treasury and enters the general affairs budget.... and then it can be used (wasted?) on all those things we don't need ....National Guard picking up trash, new detention centers, etc. etc

It depends on if anyone in business beyond the administration likes the tariffs. The Subprime Court is up for sale, they will go with the money on tariffs.

We rely on parts and components not easily found in the USA.

Example - castings are a boutique enterprise in the USA. And their cost of materials have risen significantly. As a Trade Compliance Officer at a Manufacturer - this sonofabitch has me between the hammer and the anvil.
