We should all wonder why.

(28,637 posts)We deserve as women who are habitually regarded as less than like those individuals in many other groups.
A stolen person is always a slave. Otherwise, they can't be stolen.
The despicable idiot can't help but tell on himself.

(1,109 posts)I just mean that in the sense that Epstein was paying her, so she didn't need to work a menial job anymore and quit MAL.
People use the term 'stolen' in the context of pilfered employees, pretty regularly. I imagine that was the context in which IQ47 meant it, but who knows. After all, people also use it in context of love. "She stole my boyfriend", etc. And like you say, it is him telling on himself in the sense that you know he loves the idea of owning people.
The most important piece of that story is, in my mind, that he's completely full of shit WRT 'why' he had a falling out w/Epstein. Like he had any idea that the towel girl in ladies locker room had 'moved on' at that time, and even if he did know, he didn't give the tiniest shit about it. This is a bullshit story his advisors made up 'something to say to make you sound like you cared what he was up to', but there's no f'ing way he 'cared' at the time.

(68 posts)Apparently trafficking in children wasn't worth a couple of bucks an hour to keep her at Mara Lardo. A couple of bucks an hour would have been huge to a 16 year old back then. My guess is that he believed another young girl who he didn't care about would be taking her place soon anyway.
