Trump's Corruption

Trump is wrapping up his golf outing to Scotland where he used government resources to promote a new golf course at one of his properties. His trip is estimated to cost taxpayers $10 million. Since taking office, it’s cost us $52 million for him just to play golf on the weekends.

We still have no idea how much he’s pocketed from people currying favor by putting money into his crypto coin, but we are finding out more about that plane “gifted” by Qatar.

The Defense Dept’s agreement with Qatar went to great lengths to describe it:

“This donation is made in good faith and in the spirit of cooperation and mutual support between the parties. Nothing in this [memorandum of understanding] is, or shall be interpreted or construed as, an offer, promise, or acceptance of any form of bribery, undue influence, or corrupt practice.”

Whatever it is, the two parties are agreeing it’s definitely not a bribe.

The fair market value of the plane was estimated to be $400 million. The cost of renovating the plane for use as Air Force One is estimated to cost the Defense Department $1 billion, but won’t be completed until a few months before Trump leaves office. At that time, title will transfer to Trump’s Presidential Library Foundation, which is controlled by Donald Trump.

Well, we now know where those DOGE savings are going.

Making this even more egregious is that Boeing is already building a new Air Force One, scheduled to be delivered in 2027.

But with all the other grifting, power grabs, scandals, incompetence, rights abuses, and politicization of the DOJ and the Pentagon going on, Trump’s $1 billion rip off is no longer news.
