and sometimes it's very good, indeed, both here and abroad.
One of the best here is Jake Broe, who is raising his sixth million to send to NAFO in Estonia to buy and rehab SUVs and other light trucks into delivery/ambulance vehicles for the Ukranian front lines.
Artur Rehi, a military vlogger in Estonia who's taking this month off, probably to deliver NAFO trucks to Ukraine then log some vacation time there, something he's done for 3 years now.
Vlad Vexler is a Russian expat in the UK whose field is political philosophy/psychology. Oddly, he's been a bit less acid in his take on King Hemorrhoid than he was on Putin, but that';s probably because his study of Putin has lasted a lot longer. He's definitely worth a listen.
Konstantin Samoilov, whose channel is called "Inside Russia" (and started as a travelogue) is a trained economist who knows where to find the numbers that tell the real story about what's happening to the Russian economy. It can be wonkish, but he anticipates even the lame ass reporting our own media do by three months or so. He's an expat in Uzbekistan.
Here in the US, I'm waiting for the shock to wear off so that journalism can emerge from editorializing. I just wonder if our journalists will have to be expats, too.
