So. Epstein "stole workers". Hmmm. Workers. What kind of workers? Not the immigrant maids and groundskeepers. Their visas don't allow them to change employers. The kitchen staff? Did Epstein's tastes run to greasy cheeseburgers, well done steak and chocolate cake?
"Workers" usually applies to lower level staff, not executives like chefs and managers. So who else would be classified as a "worker"?
Maybe a pool attendant?
USA TODAY mentioned one such 16 year old locker room attendant at Mar-a-Lago whose name has become very well known in the UK.
"Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's most outspoken victims who died by suicide in April, said Epstein's procurer and former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell recruited her into Epstein's circle when she was a 16-year-old Mar-a-Lago locker room assistant."

(50,966 posts)What I would like to know, if Trump knew that these underage women were being plied into a sex trade, did he have a duty to step in and stop it? Even if it was just out of a sense of morality? And, did he take advantage of any of the other young girls in Jeffrey’s stable?

(7,494 posts)It's very clear he did not do that. Trump knew what Epstein was doing and said nothing. That is arguably the worst thing he could be guilty of since many, many girls were likely victimized by Epstein which could have been prevented if Trump had spoke up and turned him in right away.

Child abuse, abandonment, or neglect by a parent or caregiver, which includes, but is not limited to, when a child is abused, abandoned, or neglected by a parent, legal custodian, caregiver, or other person responsible for the child’s welfare or when a child is in need of supervision and care and has no parent, legal custodian, or responsible adult relative immediately known and available to provide such supervision and care.

DuckDuckGo supposedly lets me reject such images, but that feature is new.
I have tried through life neither to be jealous of others nor to be full of hate. That negative energy spent on Nixon didn't really change anything.
Trying to do productive and fun things here.
One can only control what one can control, and influence people that one can influence. But we can together build a team and synergize. You don't get this kind of encouragement outside of DU. Gotta start somewhere.
I still avoid sight or sound of that POS except for works of satire. I have a few images "in the can" yet, that haven't been posted.

No Trump Models have ever been linked to Epstein that I'm aware of. Trump used the modeling agency to violate labor laws, not for sexual purposes.

I was waiting for the day that just one of these folks says "This has gone too far! I can't support him any more!" But the one diehard Trump supporter I know will never, ever say that and it is a waste of time to ever engage with them on the subject. To this guy he was sent as some kind of fulfillment of the Lord's word. You never win with these folks.

We discussed it just last Saturday night. We show movies in our Garden once a month ("The Blob" last Saturday.).
It was suggested for a future showing, but I had seen some of it recently, and it was a little slow, and didn't seem like it would lend itself to the usual mockery we enjoy so well.
It WAS scary when I was seven.

Her father at first accepted the alleged cause of death as suicide, but on May 1 said he thought that "somebody got to her". Giuffre's Australia-based attorney Karrie Louden said she believed that Giuffre's death was not "suspicious in any way".

(7,494 posts)It's pretty clear that he knew what Epstein was doing with girls under 18 and yet Trump did nothing. That is arguably the worst thing he could be guilty of since many, many girls were likely victimized by Epstein which could have been prevented if Trump had spoke up and turned him in right away. So I definitely think that is one thing.
Beyond that, I really don't know. I wouldn't completely rule out Trump having raped teenage girls, but I think it's important to note that to this point only one person has ever accused him of that (and that accusation has many reasons to be skeptical of it) and no evidence has ever been presented. So it could be that, but if it is, it almost certainly would have been on a very small scale. No way could he have gotten away with anything like Epstein is known to have done without ever being accused.
Michael Wolff has hundreds of hours of taped conversations with Epstein which include some interesting accusations about Trump but nothing really incriminating. You can find an interesting interview with Wolff here:

The Epstein tape includes an allegation—which is impossible to verify—that Trump had an

Maples with “a Black girl.” At one section, Epstein used a Yiddish racial slur to refer to Black

The tape mixes sexual allegations with other aspects of Trump’s life. Early in the recording
Epstein is heard to say, “You probably know he had a scalp reduction. He’s getting the same
male pattern baldness that we all have. He had his scalp reduced. It’s hysterical.” Trump has
long refused to release full medical records while his White House medical reports did not
disclose any prior surgeries.
And Epstein offers his eyewitness account of Trump Tower and Trump’s office where, he
said, Trump had “fake honors” on the wall. Trump, he claimed, would yell at his personal
assistant Rhona Graff, “who’s a loyal, perfect, secretary,” as well as Matthew Calamari Snr.,
his bodyguard, and Michael Cohen, his attorney who is now an enemy. Epstein compared
Trump to “an emotionally challenged 9-year-old,” and said, “He screams and yells at Rhona
more than anybody else. His screaming is how he treats people. He has a tantrum, not a
temper. If you don’t understand him, it’s frightening. Once you understand him, it’s sort of silly.
Note Trump also claimed he “kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago” when he learned about the sex-trafficking
allegations. But notice he didn't claim he reported Epstein to the authorities. Epstein wasn't arrested for the first time until like 2 years after his falling out with Trump.

By doing that he probably enabled the rape of countless girls. The fact that many here are not expressing outrage by this in and of itself and seem more concerned with unknown and possibly imaginary crimes is crazy. Honestly, no matter what else Trump may be guilty of, I find it hard to believe it will be worse than enabling hundreds of child rapes. By enabling those child rapes he's just as guilty as if he committed them himself.

(10,407 posts)She tells about it in interviews that appear in a couple of Epstein documentaries. She was a spa attendant and Maxwell recruited her. She never implicates trump as having sex with her in any of the interviews I've seen but she's the one who says Epstein trafficked her to Price Andrew.
