A new report is shedding light on the truly massive trove of evidence the Department of Justice (DOJ) has amassed on Jeffrey Epstein most of which has yet to see the light of day.
The New York Times reported Thursday on what went on behind the scenes during an extensive review of the Epstein files that the DOJ conducted for several months earlier this year. According to the Times, DOJ staff combed through "more than 100,000 pages of documents" pertaining to the 2019 federal investigation into the convicted pedophile.
DOJ attorneys reviewed the trove of evidence four times between February and April, and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche instructed staff to flag any mention of President Donald Trump, along with any other prominent public figures, "including former President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew." Then in May, Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed to Trump that his name was in the Epstein documents, as the Wall Street Journal reported this week.
The Times reported that senior Trump administration officials like Blanche, Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino have maintained there is no evidence implicating anyone outside of Epstein in the evidence. However, Trump's MAGA base has continued to harp on the issue, believing that a full release of the evidence may reveal the names of previously unknown co-conspirators and associates of Epstein.

Comment: No wonder Obama and Biden never accomplished anything, they were spending all their time creating the 100,000+ pages

(1 post)I'm more curious about who is in the videos. MSM doesn't mention the videos that the FBI found in his apartment. And did they search his other houses? More questions every day. I don't care to see the videos I just want the names of those people in the videos.
And by the way we've all seen some of the pictures, who are the people in the backgrounds? Interesting that MSM doesn't offer clues as to who they are.
They should be curios. I am. I would like to know who they are.
MSM continues to drop the ball for the American people.

(6,277 posts)I know they searched it as soon as he was arrested in 2019 and they had to use a saw to get into the safe.
https://www.businessinsider.com/fbi-used-saw-open-jeffrey-epstein-safe-hard-drives-diamonds-2021-12
Federal prosecutors previously alluded to the contents of the safe in 2019, when they sought to have a judge deny Epstein's bail application later that month. They said agents found $70,000 in cash, 48 loose diamonds and other jewelry, and a passport from a foreign country with a picture of Epstein under another name in the safe.
Joseph Recarey, a Florida detective who executed a search warrant on Epstein's Palm Beach home as part of an investigation in 2005, said hard drives had gone missing shortly before officers entered the home. Epstein later pleaded guilty to solicitation charges in connection with that investigation.
"Six computer hard drives in the house had been hastily removed, leaving dangling wires attached to monitors in several areas of the house," Recarey told the Miami Herald investigative reporter Julie K. Brown for her book "Perversion of Justice." It's unclear if these are the same hard drives.
They searched the Island as soon as he died. I don't know when they searched the other properties.
For whatever it's worth, according to Google's AI overview, there was no secret space.
There were reports and speculation about a "secret space" within Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan mansion, but no confirmed evidence of a hidden, secret apartment or room. The mansion was described as having a "respectable veneer" but with a mysterious and potentially sordid interior, according to The Times.

(6,277 posts)Based on those people who we know have been outed by one or more of Epstein's victims, it seems the majority are likely billionaires. I don't believe there are currently any billionaires in Congress.
Epstein's biggest clients were more likely to be the people who buy the politicians rather than politicians themselves.
It's also notable that many of the people who have been publicly accused are now dead.

(3,860 posts)Epstein there should be income related business receipt and they might contain identifying info on Epstein's clients.
Is this the reason for f45's refusal to release his tax info? F45 claimed he was being audited when running for his first term. How long does an IRS audit take? Are the oldigarchs keeping his tax returns hidden to protect themselves?
I think youve hit on something.

(6,277 posts)Before that? yes
Besides, some of Trump's tax returns were released (2015-2020) and I'm sure if there was anything incriminating in there in that way, it would have been caught. They did find probable tax fraud, but they were released right before Republicans took control of the House so of course Republicans were never going to investigate further.
