CBS clipped the video with Trump and Powell

We watched CBS Evening News last night. Earlier in the day I had seen the full exchange between Trump and Powell in which Powell looked at the paper and said Trump had added in the cost of a third building into the $3.1 billion figure. CBS clipped out Powell's full reply, making it sound as if Powell didn't know about the cost overrun. Bad editing, CBS!

I watched CBS at 5:00 and ABC at 5:30. CBS did that cut-off; ABC did not. I also think that was part of the pay-off. The thing is that entire clip was all over the internet all afternoon yesterday and what CBS did was clear to see for anyone who was paying attention. My comment last evening was that Walter Cronkite must be spinning in his grave and Edward R. Murrow as well.

Go to their Twitter page and hammer them. They should see all the anger and resentment to what they’re doing.

Continues apace. Trump threatened CBS with a lawsuit for editing Kamala Harris. They settled that but are still editing for Trump's benefit. What's good for the Trump is not good for the gander.

... trashed and boycotted. This "edit" story would be great to share on social media sites - TicToc, FB, IG... if I watch anything on CBS - an awards show or sports event, for example - I would state that the network is trash and I wish the show was not on such a filthy network.
