Another CEO dies young. This time he may have been one of the good ones.

I don't think his game reserve was the hunting kind, because of the last para.

Millionaire CEO Trampled to Death By His Own Elephant on South African Game Reserve

A millionaire and co-owner of a private game reserve was trampled to death on his own reserve by an African elephant.

39-year-old FC Conradie, who co-owned the luxury Gondwana private game reserve in Mossel Bay on the Western Cape in South Africa, was charged by an elephant at the reserve on Tuesday, resulting in his death, according to PEOPLE magazine.

FC's family and friends are "grieving deeply," but emphasized Conradie's "unwavering commitment to wildlife conservation, community upliftment, and sustainable tourism left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working with him."

It sounds like a hunting reserve to me.

Hunters - especially wealthy ones - are always taking about conservation. They want to conserve the animals for hunting. It's their game.

animals have space and can lead their lives until they are hunted and killed. Factory farmed animals are tortured their whole lives.

Of course most hunters eat factory farmed foods, too. So there's that.

It would be very unusual for an elephant to accidentally trample somebody to death.

That elephant had a reason to kill its owner.
