Brad Lander @bradlander: The mass starvation & killing of Palestinians in Gaza

at the hands of the Israeli gov’t is a chillul hashem, a desecration of God.

Jewish leaders who criticized Zohran Mamdani for three words he doesn’t use should raise their voices loudly here as well.

Yeah, I saw the post about Hamas eating well in tunnels. I'm sure some of them may be...
AND too little food is getting to Gazans, especially children who physically aren't biologically adapted to tolerate such a lack as well as adults can (not that it's good for them either!).

I still partly remember what happened to me around 7, or 8 yrs old ('60, '61) at this countryside camp that was part of a Settlement House in NYC.

It was summer. Our extended family were up there for a werkend. I pulled some kind of tantrum (we were about 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 yrs into my mom who'd been a pretty vibrant, active person reduced way too often to lower energies due to horrific asthma attacks [improved decade+ later] that were also draining on us emotionally. So I might have been a bit more prone to them then. I'm pretty sure I wasn't constantly like that.).

So my parents sent me to bed without supper. I woke up weak the next morning.
That was just from one missed meal! This was 64 or 65 yrs ago!
