generally do not speak with precision, especially when they are under duress. A police chief should be careful to speak precisely, especially under pressure.

If I said, Yo Dad, I’m gonna live with you til I’m 28. It would break his heart (wink wink) but I’d be hitting the road, which I did 4 months after my 18th birthday. Never committed a crime, never shot anybody, had zero guns and haven’t voted for a Republican in 49 years.
