That would fit the idea, why she didn't try to take a deal then. She was scared
They didn't want her out, as too much risk of people contacting her getting her to talk eventually. Stay in jail and be quiet and you won't end up dead.

got a deal not to get the death penalty.

NBC News has reported that Maxwell did not ask for a plea agreement and was not offered one before her trial, according to statements federal prosecutors made at the time. After she was convicted in New York, she was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison.

(598 posts)6. Well, it wouldn't be surprising if some powerful political donors were clients on all sides of the aisles. And if
anyone can explain why they wouldn't offer a high profile pedophile case with many clients a deal to get more information on possible crimes -- well it sill doesn't add up.
No one is saying it's just Trump that may have some issues here.
