So, when this shit show finally comes to it’s catastrophic head, unless you enjoy explaining to a very stern faced civil court that you were just following orders… Don’t do it.

I had an old guy, a volunteer i believe, at a veterans evaluation office say he just read that most Mexicans hate America and can't wait to leave. I was shocked. I asked if he was reading faux news. He said he wasn't. I told him all the Mexicans I know love this country, but some are choosing to self deport so they won't end up in these cruel detention centers. He also believed that LA was having terrible violent riots and that was why the military was there. I had to tell him the protests were peaceful for the most part and it wasn't the Mexicans protesting, it was regular Americans saying this had to stop. He said he had a friend that lived in LA who told him it was just terrible there. He was a decent old man who had been terribly misinformed. He acknowledged the Florida detection center was horrible but somehow that didn't make him stop and ask questions.
