Bill Barr was the AG that appointed a special counsel to look into these accusations. Of course they found no wrongdoing.
Robert Maxwell - Ghislaine Maxwell's dad was involved in this saga.

posting this. I heard of this a couple of decades ago, maybe from Sibel Edmonds Boiling Frogs podcast, or Michael Ruppert. It will be interesting to see what new information has been disinterred.
