Broadcast News

OMG, I finally broke down and watched commercial TV.
I haven't seen commercial TV news in about ten years.
I've been on PBS the last ten years, Newshour, BBcNews, DWnews...
Is this what you people are watching?
I felt like I was watching a satire of news,
and the commercials every five minutes!
I spent more time hitting mute I could barely keep track...

I usually watch Thom Hartmann, Farron, BrianTCohen, and Rebel HQ and then in the evening check them against the UK and German news, that's how I know they are on the 'up and up'.
But last night was ridiculous bunch of clips thrown together with commercials!

for as long as you can stand it. Just awful. Anything for ratings, clicks, views.

And the number of breaks per hour was regulated. Then the repubs changed all that. Deregulation, don't ya know. I think some of the breaks now must be 5 minutes. And, like you say, really frequent.
