U.S.A. political points:
For any and all elected, judicial, or appointed officials.
1) Age: 22~70
2) Must be a U.S. citizen at the time of election. Immigration status is not an issue.
3) Must be a proven resident of the area, town, city, state to be represented. Must reside there throughout their terms.
4) Education: must be a high school or equivalent graduate. Must be able to pass basic Constitutional, U.S. and World history tests.
5) Must be well read and well informed on all current issues.
6) Must have no current criminal record. Any past minor crimes are unimportant. Any violent crimes are a disqualification for any elected, judicial, or appointed position.
Political terms.
1) All elected, judicial, and appointed posts must have term limits.
2) No candidate may be under 22 or over 70 years old.
3) All term limits, except president, which should be two four years terms, as it is now, should be similar, four years being a minimum, and 16 being a maximum.
Responsibilities.
1) All elected, judicial, and appointed officials are fully responsible for following the Constitution of the U.S. and all of its the laws.
2) When found guilty of any major crimes, they must resign.
3) They must serve their sentences, paroles, and pay any and all fines given.
Payments.
1) All officials should receive a basic pay for the level of their jobs and duties. This should be in line with the national averages.
2) No official should receive any extra payments, gifts, or donations at any time before, during or after their terms.
3) Retirement pay should be in correspondence with the national Social Security payments.
4) All should qualify for Medicare, a single or family payer National Health system that must be implemented.
5) No retired politician should be given sinecures, high paying jobs with political entities, or private companies.
6) All former officials should work for charities of their choice. Religious charities are suspect.

Truly a fantasy, but no reason why some of it could be reality
