Do non-Latin minority groups realize that they're next up to be criminalized and deported?

The message began with something along the lines of "We're going to round up all the criminal Mexicans and deport them." Then came the debate and "cat eating Haitians" were added to the list of the unwanted. Once elected, the requirement that one be a criminal to be eligible for immediate deportation is quickly dropped. Muslim students are yanked out of school and taken into custody. Hondurans and Nicaraguans are suddenly fast tracked for deportation. Travel restrictions and outright bans involving nineteen countries are put into effect. Immigrants with green cards and children born in the U.S. to immigrants are added to the ledger of the deportable. A dance club in San Diego catering mostly to Asians is raided by ICE agents. American citizens of various ethnic backgrounds begin getting stopped and questioned upon re-entrance to the U.S. Not long after, the head of ICE goes on record saying something along the lines of "As long as you look like you don't belong in the U.S., you can be rounded up and processed for deportation." Trump and the GOP pass a bill that increases funding for ICE with the goal of adding anywhere between 15 and 19 additional ICE agents for every one currently employed by the agency.

It's not going to end with citizenship status or skin color. It can't. The machine that has been put in place needs to be fed in order to operate "properly."

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

This is MSNBC not-so-subtly warning their African-Americans viewers that they are next and that they better start voting for Dems. Even Dems have a quiet part they don't say out loud. Just calling them like I see them.

I fear for them, as some only have green cards. My best friend's parents are like family to me. I spent several years working in their Chinese restaurant, rented their basement to live after college, had them over to my daughter's birthday parties.
