Months back, Trump nominated Benjamin Black as CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (IDFC). This raised concerns over his father Leon Black’s financial ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Leon Black reportedly paid Epstein over $150 million for what he claims to be “advisory services,” from which, Epstein used the money to fund his island compound and sexcapades. Consciously aware, Benjamin has distanced himself from his father's actions.

Ben Black’s father, Leon, is a billionaire private equity investor who co-founded Apollo in 1990 with two fellow billionaires. Leon found himself in hot water in 2021, when Apollo’s board found, that he paid late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein $170 million for “financial services.” Leon stepped down as the firm’s CEO shortly after. In 2023, Leon Black paid a $62.5 million dollar settlement to USVI authorities, allowing him to evade potential Epstein related litigation.

One of the emotional human casualties: Seeking additional funding for her firm’s skincare line, Cheri Pierson met with Jeff Epstein. After leveraging a few massages for himself, Jeff handed Cheri off to Leon Black. She met him at Epstein’s townhouse for a purported massage. Epstein was aware of Leon Black’s intent with Cheri, and was indifferent to the debauchery that he would inflict on Ms. Pierson.
