What if TSF filing a defamation lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch and the WSJ is another one of his financial ploys (a sham)?
Specifically, what if:
1. TSF wanted to gift/bribe Murdoch (or Murdoch "requested" a payment) to perpetuate good media on FOX,
2. But, if he did that, bad publicity and gift taxes.
3. So, fabricate a lawsuit where consequently TSF "settles" for $16 million (same # as CBS settlement),
4. Murdoch counersues, they settle, and
5. Murdoch gets his money; TSF gets his network; and nobody knows the bait-and-switch.

(52,349 posts)Trump settles for $16 million (maybe more) and pays that amount to Murdoch and attorneys fees.
Murdoch gets the money. Its a transfer of wealth under the sham of "justice".

(50,496 posts)We had a City attorney, who I believed did just that. I met the gadfly of the city and in different conversations I learned that the City attorney covered his costs to go up against an opponent of the City, and later, "lost" to him in a private civil suit.
