I can guess just by her passion for the subject matter she’s addressing, she’s not gonna let it get in her way of making her point! I love her 💙

My husband recently broke down and got a handicapped parking tag. I can personally attest that he's entitled to it, because I was in the car with him some years ago when an asshole in a big old SUV decided to run a red light and tboned our little compact car. Hubs had the misfortune of being in the driver's seat where the impact occurred, suffered a broken hip, and ended up in the hospital, followed by rehab, for 2 months total. He has had pain and stiffness in that hip ever since. It didn't slow him down that much at first, but over the years it has gradually gotten worse, to the point where he finally decided to ask the doctor to fill out the paperwork for the tag so he can now use the handicapped parking spaces.

No one has challenged him on it so far, at least not when I've been present, but I keep half expecting it to happen at some point. He is still able to walk without using any mobility aids, which means he probably doesn't look "that" disabled to the naked eye. Not that it's anyone else's business, of course, but there are plenty of people who think everything is their business, and there's a non zero chance we'll run into one of them eventually. So far so good!
