Learn how to "disagree better"
Why do we have such difficulty understanding why people on the other political side believe as they do? Why dont we see them as they see themselves instead of as we choose to see them? Those are just two of the core questions addressed in our Skills for Disagreeing Better workshop on July 26 at 2 pm ET. Learn skills for listening carefully, looking for common ground, and sharing perspectives in ways that connect rather than creating more misunderstanding. Register here:

ChatGPT gets very Braver Angels !!
Amy Musson, a Braver Angel in the Santa Ynez Valley, CA, asked ChatGPT to have a dialogue with her, channeling the spirit of Ben Franklin. The responses were inspiring, intriguing -- and very much in the spirit of Braver Angels!
On the topic of division:
But let me speak plainly. E Pluribus Unum must be chosen, again and again...'Out of many, one' is not a natural state it is an act of continual commitment. A republic, like a friendship, is sustained by the willingness to be in relation even when we differ. If you have lost kin and companions over politics, I grieve with you. I lost a son to Loyalism. I never saw him again. He died before we could repair what duty and bitterness broke. Ask yourself as I often did: What do I value more? The correctness of my opinion, or the possibility of continued connection?
For more of her dialog with AI, contact Amy at amyk@amykcoaching.com.
