Why Musk's rockets keep blowing up?

Because for every new implementation of new improvement in the process of making the rocket successful, they must remove two older improvements to reduce overall pile of improvements down to a manageable level.

Sorry, I'm just making a riff on an idea the Republicans love of, for every new regulation, you must remove more regulations than you implemented. It never made any damn sense to me. And if you tried to use it in the real world where things would instantly self-destruct, it's completely foolhardy.

It's just that government is so opaque or so slow in the cause and effect of doing things, that you can't see the actual effect. So, Republicans get away with it. And Musk gets away with it in DOGE for the same reasons. Or at least they're trying

Yes, I am in favor of regular review of laws/regulations we've implemented to see if we no longer need them but not by process of blind dumbassery. Isn't Muskie supposed to be a genius? What happened here? Maybe it's just me.

I don't know why I thought of this today. Just occurred to me.

I think the riff between him and Trump is real, but Trump can't really get rid of him, thanks to Musk's wealth. I wouldn't put it past Trump to make his toadies sabotage Musk's rockets in order to drive Space X into bankruptcy.

It's a wonder that his Dragon system has had the small amount of failures that it had.

I remember as a small child the NASA deaths and explosions were still on everyone's mind...Gus Grissom's death being particularly horrific.
