Springsteen was a true defender of the working class
Bruce Springsteen took a critical stance on the Vietnam War and criticizes the US government for its treatment of war veterans. More than ever this song needs to be heard now,
This song should be played at every progressive protest and rally. Play it in your cars and turn up the volume.

And never forget that Bruce Springsteen opposed Trump using his song "Born in the U.S.A." at Trump's political rallies in 2016. Rather than take legal action, he openly announced his support for Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton, and campaigned in support of her.
As usual the scumbag who is clueless re the meaning of everything thought he could use the song for his own agenda.
Play it everywhere. - explain it to your kids and grandkids so they get up and stand up for their rights.
And never forget that he turned down millions from Chrysler who wanted to use the song in ads. The Boss has integrity.

(12,764 posts)1. My son gave me Springsteen's Broadway show on vinyl, I put the first 3 sides on the turntable yesterday,
it brought tears to my eyes. 50 years ago, my wife and I saw him at the Palace. She was a barefoot girl and her dress waved.
