Will 60 Minutes return to independent journalism AFTER the merger

is approved and goes through? Or will it continue to look over its shoulder indefinitely?

powerful and poignant and truly embarrassing for Paramount. It made me think of that remarkable Michael Mann film The Insider (starring Russel Crowe) which really went behind the scenes of 60 Minutes to establish integrity as a guiding principle for the reporters and producers of this program.

I feel like this story isn't over yet, and that it might even have a happier ending.
