Many were Republicans, but no one thought about it. Exponential monied control was not invented yet.

(18,424 posts)3. Don't know. All I can say is I found the closing of 60 Minutes last night
powerful and poignant and truly embarrassing for Paramount. It made me think of that remarkable Michael Mann film The Insider (starring Russel Crowe) which really went behind the scenes of 60 Minutes to establish integrity as a guiding principle for the reporters and producers of this program.
I feel like this story isn't over yet, and that it might even have a happier ending.
