Hegseth us giving a remote interview in front of a green screen somewhere. Faux is providing the fake background. There must be various GOP safe houses in D.C. and in other places of the country with green screens where Trump's minions can have their interviews relayed to Faux Central. There may even be a green screen set up in the den of Hegseth's home.

Otherwise, we'd be able to see that Hegseth is standing in line at the Virginia ABC liquor store waiting for it to open.
