The Orange Asshat sold mass deportation as

a cure for crime in the U.S. during the presidential campaign. Glassy-eyed froth-mouthed MAGAts began pounding their chests and screaming the refrain.

I'm guessing U.S. crime rates have not dropped, not even a little. If you include the current regime, I'm guessing crime rates have gone up.

Does anybody have hard numbers for crime rates in the last six months?

Trump can report falling crime rates even if it is not true.

In fact, I don't think this guy is capable of telling any truth. "I just can't help myself" is a phrase he himself has used to explain his errant behavior.

if you can't handle the truth, shoot the messenger. Global climate change? No problem. Shut down the people who monitor world temperatures and no one will know about it. High crime rates? No problem. Fire the staticians and replace them with fixers. Lather, rinse, repeat.

crime rates will soar.
