Violation of the US Flag Code...

Defense Secretary Hegseth while at the White House Easter Egg Roll on 04/21/2025...

4 USC Chapter 1: THE FLAG
§8. Respect for flag

No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.

(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker's desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.

(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown.

5. The reason I don't have a flag at my house is that flags come with rules.

Too many people fly flags and don't care about them at all.

A hotel next door to me would fly their American flag until it was no better than a torn and tattered rag. I complained about it once and the manager said the maintenance man would get to it the next week. I asked "why until next week?" and the owner got mad and ordered me off the property.
The same thing happened the next year only this time I posted about it on a local online group. The owner got so many calls and emails complaining about it that he had it taken down the same day and now over a year later it's never been replaced.

I take the position that a flag motif article of clothing is not a flag.

Unsure how to proceed? Choose Ignorance. Republican Super Power, on Acid. Seriously!!!! Does this guy know ANYTHING except to lie to the camera? This is what happens when there is only one question on the interview: Will you kiss Truskiyy's Ass? He passed the breathalyzer: Positive for Dear Leader's ass. "Go... and Sin some more".
