Does anyone have the same problem I do on the IRS online account, accessing our joint info?

My husband and I file jointly, and I was the one who made the extension payment and first quarter payment in April. Yet neither of these payments show up on my account -- only on my husband's.

It used to be that we would both see the same information on our pages for our joint return. But now, inexplicably, only one of our quarterly payments for last year shows on my account (undated, so I'm not sure which one it was) , and others show up on my husband's. I made them all through my computer.

How is this an improvement or more efficient? Wouldn't it be simpler for both our pages showing our joint account to show the same things?

Do you print out copies of the returns? PoindexterOglethorpe Tuesday #1
I don't think we have three accounts. We've had an accountant and she is very helpful, pnwmom Tuesday #2

I find that physical copies of stuff really helps figuring out such things.

And do you actually have three accounts somehow? One that is his SS# and his information, one that is your SS# and information, and perhaps a third that includes both?

I do hope you are able to figure this out and resolve it quickly.

Personally, I have my taxes done by a professional, and it's well worth what they charge me.

but she was also having trouble logging into her client accounts a month ago, so she couldn't even tell me what information was on ours.

We file jointly and our bank account is held jointly, so I don't know how the "his information" and "her information" would be divided up. (We're both retired now.) I was the one going online and making the estimated payments all year, and yet only one of the payments shows up on my page. It also doesn't show that I made any payments in April -- but it does show them on my husband's page.

It usually takes a while for the IRS systems to update the way they should.

As long as you have confirmation that the payment was made, that's all you should need. I wouldn't worry about it further at the moment.
