ICYMI, in response to the Times story today of the Venezuelan man disappeared by the Trump administration on March 15, DHS has acknowledged for the first time that the man is currently being imprisoned in CECOT.
It shouldn't take a major media story to get DHS to say who they're paying to imprison.

Because Rubio and Trump wanted to look harsh on Tren de Aragua for the base and to generate a major media splash around the Alien Enemies Act, and Bukele saw the opportunity for a payday, international attention, and closer ties to Trump? bsky.app/profile/fore...
