Going back to at least Smirky McBush. Republicans blocked all new requests for additional judges. Or even paralegals to help plaintiff and the courts.

And hopefully it will be covered in the press like Watergate and Iran Contra. And, hopefully, the electorate will pay attention and remember. (I realize that there is no f'ing chance for that.)

But trials should be about discovering and exposing the truth. Having the truth available is important to democracy. If a part of the electorate chooses to ignore the truth, that weakens democracy, but that part of the electorate was always going to be detrimental to democracy.
