Now they've let a lunatic take the reins, and it didn't even take them 100 days. Trump is bad enough, but the whole party, at least those in elected office, are just as bad and have lost their collective minds. Especially if they think they can pull this off without bringing the whole thing down.

1) It should never have come to this in the first place,

and

2) If Trump goes down, then we get Vance, the more intelligent, less cognitively impaired, possibly more evil version of Trump. This is not a win.

Tue Apr 22, 2025, 07:55 AM

is that I will always point out what I see happening. I get my news every day from other sources than cable news and social media, and The Hill.

When I point out the truth about what is happening I am labeled a doom and gloomer and accused of giving up. There is a huge difference between pointing out what is happening and not fighting back.

There are Congressional Democrats whose strategy is to let Krasnov burn it all down and then win back Congress in the 2026 election. That is exactly what Chuck Schumer told Chris Hayes on national TV.

There are numerous Congressional Democrats who are fighting back but they all should be fighting back and they all should be fighting with a united message, with united talking points, but they are not.

I now donate to the ACLU, and to Indivisible, which has been organizing the majority of the protests across the country.

The courts have ruled that the rule of law applies and that is a basic win for us. Now, will Krasnov obey the courts is yet to be determined.

We have had serious threats to our country's national security; SignalGate and NLRBGate and I see no signs of either one of those catastrophes being stopped. I predicted that Magats have been using their personal phones with the Signal App that self-deletes messages from the beginning and I predicted that they are still using them, and I was vindicated. Same with the NLRB, the whistleblower was simply called a liar.

Let me remind people, there are most likely 200 more people who were denied due process who were sent off to concentration camps other than Garcia. My question, who appropriated the millions of dollars that are being spent deporting people to El Salvador? DOGE is illegal and unconstitutional and yet it goes right ahead taking the place of Congress.

Does Krasnov have control of the military? He just fired another officer because she didn't have pictures of Krasnov, Vance, and Hegseth at her headquarters. Krasnov is going to spend 100 million dollars for a military parade in dear leader's honor on his birthday, unfuckingbelievable.

Small victories may very well lead the way to winning the war but IMO it will be up to us, the people, to throw out the billionaires. I do not believe the courts will save us, I believe it will take a national strike and that is being organized. There are 334,000 people already committed, but we are going to need at least 10 million people to be effective.

Fighting back means exactly what the word implies, fight, not waiting to beat them at the next election or waiting for Krasnov to obey the courts.

He could have been impeached a hundred times and it doesn't matter one iota if the Senate doesn't convict him and remove him from office. We can thank Mitch McConnell that the Senate didn't do that after the second impeachment. If, as Senate Majority Leader, at that time, he had swayed the Republican Senators to vote to convict, we would have never had another Trump presidency. Thank-you, Mitch McConnell.... asshole.

Impeachment don't mean shit unless the US Senate convicts.

Please, folks, STOP IT with this impeachment wet dream. It. Ain't. Gonna. Happen.

And I don't want Trump impeached. I. WANT. HIM. GONE.

All this talk of impeachment is meaningless. Dems have to get control of both chambers then get enough to vote for conviction. Anything less is useless. If only he was convicted the last time, he would not have been able to run and we would not be having this discussion. Period. We would not be in the shape we are in now. It can be done, but it’s a steep hill to climb.

Just look at the HIT JOB the RepubliCONs did on the Republican (Cheney) that led the investigation on the second impeachment......
And I can only think that Trump is having his DOJ appointee, and his FBI appointee investigate her indicted for a charge of sedition, and have her along with his list of countless others, thrown in the GULAG.........

Several House Republicans voted for impeachment on the grounds of obstruction of justice and abuse of power.

Several from the House and Senate went to Nixon personally, and told him that the writing was on the wall and that he should leave office for the good of the nation.

We need to really get out the vote at midterms. Take over the house with a true majority and then the senate. If impeachment is the Goal, go after BOTH the tangerine turd and the VP. And, since we will control the house, our next president would be a Democrat. We have seen a good number of people come to the fore during the 50501 protests. Build on that!. We need a TOTAL GOTV plan of action, starting with you and I. Anything less could be seen as giving up.
