For example, 32 percent of Trump supporters placed whites closer to the top level of "intelligence" than they did blacks, compared with 22 percent of Clinton supporters who did the same.


There's a significant number of white people (and non-blacks) with prejudiced attitudes toward African Americans, but it's NOT their primary concern by a long shot. It's just not an important issue to them because it doesn't really affect them -- part of "privilege", I suppose.

It's white evangelical voters who gave the overall "white vote" to Trump. That's mostly related to abortion, I think, but I don't want to see Democrats bend on that issue either.
