17. The case for statewide recount dropped, but the recount continues...

The court case for a statewide recount in PA may have been dropped because of last minute fee gouges, but the recount continues. The strategy has changed but the outcome remains the same. The effort is now to obtain voluntary recounts by as many of PA's 1000+ wards to reduce Trump's lead from 0.8% down to 0.5%, which would trip a mandatory statewide recount. Considering Trump's lead was originally 1.2%, it's plausible that a narrowing of the lead down to 0.5% is no longer an insurmountable goal.
