1. I share that feeling of dread...

Every apocalypse movie about the end of the world has that moment - the moment when the main character realizes holy shit, for real and for true, this is really happening and the world is really going to end in (24 hrs, or 3 days, or 2 years) and that main character either CANT tell anyone because it'll cause catastrophic rioting, or he's telling every body who'll listen, but no one believes him. That crazy fearful moment when the character realizes there's only "x" amount of time left, so he better enjoy every minute of it, experiencing life, making memories, soaking in the world before it all ends. I feel like I'm in that moment right now, where I'm like "fuck it, what's the point of saving money? Go out and experience the last days of America before it all gets disassembled and torn down starting in January". I'm not saying this is the end of the world, but it very much feels like the last days of the America we know now. I have a deep, deep feeling of dread, that America is going to look a lot different in a year, even more in two years. There will be chapters written in history books about this era, entitled "America, The Last Days" or "America, The Beginning Of The End" or "2017, Ushering In A New American Era". I just cannot shake this dread, nor the panic of needing to soak it all in while I can.
