Omaha City Councilman Brinker Harding cruised to the Republican nomination in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District, but he's behind on some important paperwork: his personal financial disclosures as a candidate for the U.S. House.

A disclosure includes a candidate's assets, debts, income, investments and jobs. Harding was required to file an initial disclosure document that was due in August of last year. A second disclosure was due May 15.

He has not filed either, according to the Clerk of the U.S. House's website.

"My personal financial disclosure will be public shortly, and we have nothing to hide," Harding said in a written statement.
